Priscilla is currently on family leave.

Priscilla is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She grew up in New Mexico at the foothills of the Sandia Mountains with her mother and four siblings. Priscilla’s mother was a great proponent of natural medicine and planted the seed for Priscilla’s interest and passion for complementary alternative medicine. As a teenager, Priscilla became interested in nutrition, spending her time reading and learning about healthy foods and supplements. It was a natural transition for her to go into the field of holistic medicine.

Even after decades in the field, she still finds herself continually seeking to enrich her knowledge by taking weekend classes. Priscilla has spent years working closely with pain management specialists and works in clinics dedicated to pain relief, but her true passion lies in nutrition and fertility. It amazes her everyday how strong of a role nutrition plays in all “dis-eases” of the body, including fertility issues.

Along with Chinese medicine diagnosis, Priscilla finds it very helpful to incorporate her knowledge of functional medicine especially when it comes to fertility. Through blood work, hormone saliva testing, and hair mineral analysis, she can get a better view of what is happening in the body. Priscilla’s goal as a practitioner is to share her knowledge with you and to partner with you on your way to a healthy and fulfilling life.

Victoria Johnson, Licensed Acupuncturist

Victoria Johnson

I am a California licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and certified massage therapist living in Oakland, CA since 2001. I earned a B.A. in Biology with a minor in Holistic Health before receiving my Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine. I started in the healing arts in 1996 after caring for my father in hospice where a simple foot massage could transform both his spirit and his overall pain level. Today, I continue to use a hands-on approach to my acupuncture sessions, often incorporating bodywork to diagnose, treat pain and restore balance.

I’ve spent my post graduate years learning Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM) with distinguished doctors from China. CCM looks at your body’s pattern through the lens of the Han dynasty and chooses herbs that match your unique pattern. I also use CCM, acupuncture and nutritional supplements to support women’s health, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum care.

My goal is to get to the root of your issues and address your symptoms quickly so that you can live your best life — pain-free and in harmony with the seasons and the natural world.
